GUCCI RELEASES THE NEW FRAGRANCE – GUCCI BLOOM

Gucci brand proposes a stunning debut – a perfume designed by Alessandro Michele, Gucci Bloom. Capturing the scent of jasmine, tuberose, and stinging root, which instantly reflects on the virgin nature, the fragrance is presented in a shiny bottle, reminiscent of Italian porcelain, in a dusty pink hue, with the unparalleled Gucci logo. The outer packaging, the box in which the perfume is found, is imprinted with a vintage floral, dark red and white model, a traditional Gucci motif, authenticated by Michele.

Gucci Bamboo last perfume by Gucci appeared a couple of years ago, being an intense but graceful fragrance, respecting the pattern of the brand at that time. Now, however, since Alessandro Michele is in charge of the identity of the fashion company, we expect Gucci Bloom to go on the new line of inspiration with a strong, vibrant Italian vibe.

Gucci Bloom is the result of a creative encounter between Michele and parfurs master Alberto Morillas. Edgar Huber, president of Coty Luxury @ Coty Inc., who owns the Gucci Fragrance License, says Bloom is bringing something completely new to what Gucci has got us accustomed to in terms of flavor, both from an olfactory perspective and from the point of view Aesthetic: “The smell is greatly inspired by the attitude of Michele himself.”

Gucci celebrated the creation of the new fragrance at MoMA PS1, the Long Island City Contemporary Art Institute being transformed for the private event into a wild urban garden lushly lined with roses, peony, jasmine, lemon or glycine, and ancient cages that housed birds exotic. DJ Juliana Huxtable took charge of music, and Goldfrapp held a live concert. The host of the event was, of course, Gucci Creation Director along with the three stars who will promote Gucci Bloom perfume: Dakota Johnson, Petra Collins and Hari Nef.

Michele’s muses, a trio symbol of modern women with different personalities, radiate in the videos and images captured by Glen Luchford under Michele’s creative guidance. Perhaps the most important aspect that Gucci Bloom manages to emphasize is that diversity is the one that needs to thrive today, that’s why the scent adds to women all over the world through three authentic muses with features, aspirations and affinities as varied as possible. We are just waiting to test it.
